A low pressure solar collector is an open, unpressurized collector that heats water directly inside its evacuated tubes and works on natural circulation — hot water rises, cold water sinks, no pump and no pressure vessel. Because it skips the pressurized tank and pump station entirely, it delivers the lowest cost per square metre of collecting area, which is exactly what large hot water projects need.
