A pressurized solar water tank stores the solar-heated water under mains pressure, so the shower feels exactly like a normal plumbing system — strong, even flow, no gravity head tank on the ceiling. The tank takes the working pressure of the water line (rated 0.6 MPa), which is why the inner tank material and the welding quality decide everything.
Our tanks use a SUS304-2B stainless steel inner tank for corrosion resistance, wrapped in 55 mm high-pressure foamed polyurethane to keep the heat where it belongs overnight.
Direct tanks store the potable water; indirect tanks carry a copper coil exchanger instead.

A 55 mm high-pressure foamed polyurethane layer around the inner tank. Polyurethane has a small heat conductivity coefficient, so losses stay low between sunset and the morning shower.
